Christmas Cottage is a gift to YOU, any time of year. This beautiful home is for our more discerning guests who want to enjoy Highlands without sacrificing the nicer things you have in your own home. This two-level home is perfect for a couple, two couples, or a small multi-generational family. Each level is easily accessed from separate exterior entrances or by using the interior stairs.

Less than a five-minute drive to everything Highlands has to offer, including some of the best dining and shopping opportunities of anywhere around. Nature lover? There are nature trails, hikes, fishing and waterfalls all within an easy drive from Christmas Cottage.

This home has paved-to-the door, easy access with a U-shaped driveway, and a two-car garage available. Complimenting the home is lovely landscaping with perennials, shrubs and trees.

The main level offers a large family room with comfortable seating, a dining area, wood-burning fireplace, TV, and access to one of the four porches. The well-equipped kitchen is open to the family room. There's a home office with half-bath off of the family room. The Mst. bedroom is ensuite, has a TV and access to a covered porch. The laundry room is on the main level by the garage entrance.

The lower level has another family room with wood-burning fireplace, dining area and full kitchen and has access to a covered porch. There are two bedrooms on this level, one has a King bed, private bath and access to a small porch, and the other has two twins.

This home has a two- night minimum, except for HOLIDAYS AND SOME LOCAL EVENTS, which are a 7-night minimum.
The rental app you are using may allow you to make two or three-night rentals during these times, but that doesn't mean the reservation will be honored.

  I almost never write reviews about anything but this home merits an exception. Well appointed, handsomely decorated, and meticulously maintained, you can't help but fall in love with this residence the moment you cross the threshold. I won't repeat the information in the listing other than to say that all facts and photos are 100% accurate. Tons of space and lots of thoughtful extras like kindling for the fireplaces, full morning coffee supplies, and plentiful towels. And only a five-minute drive to downtown Highlands. The only possible ding is that the home is close to a busy road infested with drivers who have no taste in music but pack plenty of decibels, so even though a thick tree line hides the road from the house you will hear the traffic+tunes from all four lovely outdoor decks. But otherwise there is no other noise from neighbors or elsewhere, so don't let a few discourteous pick-up trucks deter you from enjoying all this home has to offer. Check-in and check-out both smooth and hassle-free, and the nice folks at Chambers graciously allowed a late check-out. No Wi-FI issues -- worked great! All of this added up to the perfect birthday weekend getaway with my wife

  Christmas Cottage was everything and more than advertised! Our family had a wonderful time on the porch during the day and by the fire at night. The kitchen was very well stocked for any type of cook which is important especially now when we are cooking more these days. The home was clean and beds were comfortable. Location was very convenient to town and we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood. We will for sure plan to come back to Christmas Cottage soon!
