Maison Rouge is a place where good times and great memories are made. Listen to the crickets sing from this inviting lakefront chalet offering 4 bedrooms and 3 baths. The main level has a well equipped galley kitchen, dining and living area, and open decks overlooking the peaceful side of Mirror Lake. The living area has a Lannon stone fireplace, Flat screen TV and VHS/DVD player. There are two bedrooms and one bath on the main level- the Mst. BR has a King bed and the guest BR has a Queen bed. The upper level has two bedrooms with one full bath in between. Each upper level bedroom has two twins and access to a small balcony-one overlooks Cullasaja Drive, and the other overlooks the lake. The lower level is a walk out basement level living area, but this isn't what you think of when you hear the word basement! Living area with gas log fireplace and comfortable seating to watch TV or cozy up to the fireplace with a good book or conversation. The trendy full kitchen is a delight and has easy access to the lower deck with gas grill and dining lakeside. There's a powder room, laundry area and shower area too.

Both levels of Maison Rouge have access to lakeside decks/porches. There’s a nice grassy lakeside area- great for play or lawn games, and there’s a flat bottomed boat available as well (life jackets and oars are provided)

You’re going to love the yesteryear styling Maison Rouge mixed with all the modern day conveniences. This is a property where good memories are made.

This home has a four- night minimum, except for HOLIDAYS AND SOME LOCAL EVENTS.
The rental app you are using may allow you to make two or three-night rentals during these times, but that doesn't mean the reservation will be honored.

    This is a comfortable house with a great location on Mirror Lake. The primary value of the house is its front porch facing the lake, which presents a fascinating play of light over the course of the day and with the changes of weather. There are rather strangely two kitchens, the older one on the main floor is a bit cramped, but there is a beautiful new kitchen on the ground floor; however this results in carrying food up and down the rather narrow stairs, unless you want to stock both refrigerators. The hill down to the lake is steep and could do with a few steps in the steepest part. The only disappointing thing about the location is the highway noise from the numerous motorcycles coming up the Franklin Rd (US64). But other than that we had a lovely stay.
