Idle Speed

Idle Speed is a great family home located on a large wooded lot on a private road with lots of parking and easy access on a quaint dirt/gravel road. You can see the cool flowing stream in the back yard from the main deck or the balcony deck off one of the upstairs rooms. Country style covered front porch is your access to the large great room with vaulted ceiling, large stone wood burning fireplace, comfortable seating, TV, and dining area. There are four bedrooms total, two on the main level (King and 2 twins) and two on the upper level (King and 2 twins) There are two baths on the main level and one bath on the upper level. Great walking area, small stream, fire pit, covered front porch, open back grilling/dining deck. Pinky Falls is about a half mile away (great cool destination spot).

Three night minimum/$$150.00 cleaning fee + applicable tax charged on ALL reservations at Idle Speed
NO PETS
This home has a three- night minimum, except for HOLIDAYS AND SOME LOCAL EVENTS.
The rental app you are using may allow you to make two or three-night rentals during these times, but that doesn't mean the reservation will be honored.


Like all of the properties we manage, your reservation is contingent on being accepted by the owner or the property manager on behalf of the owner. We follow all guidelines with Federal and NC Fair Housing Laws, and will not discriminate against:

From the property manager: If you are using a third party site (like VRBO) please understand that we use third party sites (like VRBO) in order to gain renters who may not have found our company through our website. All renters, no matter where they start will sign a vacation rental lease. It doesn't matter if you have already read, or agreed to any other kind of lease through the third party site (like VRBO). All vacation rental leases adhere to the NC Vacation Rental Agreement Act. When you sign the lease, which is between you (as renter) and Chambers Realty & Vacation Rentals (as Landlord on behalf of the property owner), you are agreeing to our terms. You will not be charge by us until you have seen the lease. If you have any questions about our policies or our lease you need to contact us, not the third party site (like VRBO). It is our full intent to retain any renters gained by using third party sites (like VRBO) for future rentals, and possibly as future home owners as well.
